Eighth Grade Trip to Washington!

On Wednesday June 7th, the eighth grade boarded buses and headed for the nation’s capital! Their first stop was the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum. The students toured the Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, and Korean Memorial. The boys went to The Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, while the girls went to the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. The students went to a souvenir shop, and went to take a picture outside the White House. After eating dinner at the hotel, students had a wonderful night of bowling. The following morning the students ate breakfast and davened at the hotel, and then went on a guided tour through the capital. They then went to Six Flags Amusement Park, followed by a pizza dinner served at a rest area! Thank you to Mrs. Golubtchik, Mrs. Finkel, Morah Beer, Morah Hadas, Rabbi Landsman, Rabbi Nat, Rabbi Kramer, and Rabbi Howitt for chaperoning this  memorable trip!
